This Lucumi thing is why we shouldn’t moan too much about Saudi btw. The premier league is to the rest of the world what Saudi is to us.

Imagine we qualified for Europe and then the night before our first game of the season one of our best players’ agents came out and said we should accept the offer from NEOM.

Seriously mate, it's absolutely nothing like the same thing.

Forgive me if I haven't understood your post but the two things are entirely different.

Agent forcing the move now makes it feel like a matter of time

the agents statement also reads like he feels the offer from Sunderland is fair for Bologna

player wants to leave and is pushing it. 99 times out of 100 this only ends one way.
Or he’s panicking because we’re about to land a surprise

Wonder if we pull a quality right winger out the bag after this one is done, still feel like we’ll struggle to create
What would peoples preference be if it was a choice between theses 2 for RW - BAKWA or FATAWU?
I dont know anything about either apart from what has been said on here.

I haven’t seen enough of either of them tbf. Sure fatawu was quality in the championship and was looked decent in the prem before he done his ACL. have we actually been linked to bakes?

Don’t agree with that. So most of our signings have only come for money considering they could have been playing European football?

Not only for money, but it will be a huge part of it, absolutely. Your final sentence sort of reinforces it... why would he decide to come and play for a side predicted to struggle against relegation all season instead of battling for cups and playing in European competition, if not for the money? We're more than tripling his wages, man :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Lots of people keep mentioning him as an ideal signing and looked like he was going to Nottm Forest recently until they signed someone else but not seen any direct links.

Understand what you are saying and agree to an extent but also disagree.

Premier league is grounded in the best standard of football in the world.

Saudi league is grounded in nothing other than greed.

I spoke with some of the Italians I work with on this. They do get frustrated by the money advantage of English clubs but they respect the Premier League as a competition and the fans of the clubs. That’s the fundamental difference.

It’s great that the Inter, AC Milan and Juve fans now pay an interest and know what’s going on with SAFC. One of the lads has a season ticket at Como so has promised he can take me to a game which will be fantastic.

Signing Xhaka genuinely shocked them: The AC Milan fans would have happily had him there.
