I don't need to
Don't get clever mate, it's really not your strength.
An equal tendency for some Sunderland supporters to assume every player you sign turned Leeds down

I don't believe that's the case at all, you're just claiming that to back up a fairly weak assumption.

Not in the slightest
, the poster was doing some figures and math and had possibly left up to £16m out of the equation, it doesn't mean I think you are in financial trouble, more a dig at the state of football and how agents are part of the bigger problem

Come on man, you came on the thread specifically to pull someone up on what he'd already said was guesswork and not meant to be an accurate breakdown ...

... you just couldn't resist adding to the feeling that Leeds only seem to want to comment on our spending.

This is a transfer rumour thread yet you seem fixated on Sunderland's spending, not who we're buying.

The more you comment the worse you look tbh, just relax and forget about the money ... we'll handle that.

The main reason I wanted promotion last season. If we’re to go down (and there’s still a good chance it happens), we’ll be in such a stronger position than we were a year ago. The future is bright
I still think we'd have a tough job as I said in an earlier post, as we'd lose so many players. But on the financial side we'd be absolutely fine

Sets a bit of a precedent if the worst happens this season too. If all of our young players end up yielding a min £10m profit on sale - even if they don't make a standout impact - we'll be well protected.
We would make a massive massive profit on rigg, ballard, hume, mayenda and thats without any of the new lads having a great season

also the likes of isidor stepping up

we will more absolutely more than fine and dont have a thing to worry about either way, we are in the best hands. The job theyve done after the mess donald left is scary, embarrassed i even doubted them at times!

The Eze replacement for about half the fee. It'll be interesting to see what Palace do in the window before it closes. I don't see many positions where they can get serious upgrades.
They’ll have to get a guehi replacement I know they were after a sporting Lisbon cb a couple months ago

Potential domino effect of Arsenal looking for another forward with an Injury to Havertz

It’s a good thing Eli signed a new deal arsenal need a new versatile forward and I’m pretty sure I saw someone say earlier in the summer they had taken a look at him

I know Man Utd have scouted him, tbf think quite a lot of teams send scouts to our games now

Frankfurt appartently had scouts at the game on Saturday

If I was them I'd try for Watkins, an arsenal fan would probably be happy to share minutes and would ease pressure on Gyokeres

I dont mind Doyle but the money they've spent is mental for the level and I still don't think they are any closer to getting promoted

I get they are probably aiming for mid table finish on season 1 in the league but to sornd around 30 million in that league you should be expecting promotion or at least challenging the playoffs

Doyle at least has room to grow unlike their other signings, who are decent Championship players only

Just feel they've wasted a lot of money over the last few years and seem to have zero forward planning.

We should be an example of what can be achieved, spend money on players who are likely to improve, add in cheaper veterans to support and then use the loan market

I hope Wrezham fall flat on their faces this year, haven't been massively impressed with their recruitment over the years

Hats off to them for the money they get through sponsorships tho

Their owners have no interest in football beyond what it can go for their image and their ego.

Just cannot comprehend how we got as lucky as we did with KLD.
