I'd never heard of him either. But that is par for me, I only know them if they've played in very high profile games.

Mind, once he was spoken about as being close to Bastoni in quality, I was wondering just who exactly it is I support now!

Let's hope we can get him. Big Dan needs competition!

Hope not, I have to say. Might be me and elite football done. These are lads trying to be the best footballers they can be. Chelsea are treating them like poker chips. It is everything football should rail against. I suspect only supporters can bring real change but the insatiable appetite for progress via money seems to be well set, at least at premier league level.

Nice to hear mate. I have no insight on him as a lad at all. But when I have watched him I see a player. Hope he doesnt get swallowed up at that club, but I actually rate Howe with young lads. I like Howe a lot, just wish he was at another club I suppose.

Ooh. I had no idea.

I have been told time and again over the last 2/3 years we are the academy of choice across north east, and probably beyond as lads hit 18. KLD greatest gift so far is our academy investment. Murty and the team are so bloody good at what they do.

I really want to see Derby pick up a couple of decent young lads. Eustace is a coach I rate. I am close to the club and they really do try and do things the right way. I know some folk there and said they should look at Sunderland for some loans amongst our squad. Wouldnt be against Harrison Jones, Seelt, Aleksic being developed by that club.

Not sure I see a huge issue with it, personally... They buy in young talented players, develop them, get them a decent loan moves, and sell them on if they're still not quite at a high enough level. It's exactly what the loan system is designed for, no? They just do it on a larger scale than other teams but if the system works, why not?

Totally agree.

And I dont think we will be doing Chelsea stuff mind, more Brighton. Good business with a lot of heart. We have already let people go for the right deal.

Aye me and Scout discussed them as a great destination the other week. No links or owt but just came as you’ve said, well managed and history of developing lads well.

Good crowds too which helps lads looking to play at top.

Are our lads good enough to go and play there every week? They'll have playoff ambitions but I've not seen enough of them to know how good they are.
