You would have said that goal was mad! Like absolutely completely ****ing deluded before the window opened and while it's still a bit mad to be thinking that when most clubs dont even come close to surviving its seems the transfer business so far has been doing aiming more at this kind of level than scraping survival!
Yeah I maintain that 17th is the goal for this season. Anything else is a bonus. If the club really think that Europe is the goal (i'm unsure on the source to be honest) then great but 17th would still be a cracking season.
I think 10th is feasible. Not likely, but possible for sure. Can see us ending up anywhere between 10th and 19th (can't see Burnley finishing above us unless they splash a lot of cash in the next couple weeks).
I’d take 17th in a heartbeat right now then we get to go again with a year behind us and a really strong base to build on
absolutely. We’d have the benefit of being one of the established clubs with three new teams beneath us trying to stay up
For all 17th is the goal for us. KLD has higher ambitions
He probably does, I just wouldn't want 17th to be seen as a failure when infact it would be a huge achievement
This for me too, obviously finishing as high as possible is the goal but as expectations raise, "KLD wants Europe", so do the parameters for what is considered failure.
Yeah we need to not get too far ahead of ourselves ( it's not a bad thing, I want us to finish as high as possible ) but finishing 17th is still a massive achievement
I think 17th and casually win the league cup seems a reasonable enough plan. Can't see it being hard. Just need to win like 6 games and we've done that before.
