If Leeds magically unlock the player who had 1 good season, they’ve nicked a gem.

That scenario seems a major long shot. There’s a reason why it was us or Leeds.

He basically begged top clubs and they didn’t even have a convo.

I can see why he’d be worth a punt, but he isn’t free, his salary will be massive on a free. It’s a massive Hail Mary signing him.

I remember when Everton were nearly down and out and a debate was sparked that footballers have a life outside of football aswell when he was jetting off to New York and seemingly concentrating on his fashion portfolio at a time where all tr players really should be knuckling down and keeping stuff like he was posting on social media to a zero.No coincidence he's done pretty much nothing at the age of 29 since his one good seaon. As sunderland fans, we've seen the "couldn't give a s**t" attitude from players when the chips have been down.

Now Bade and Diakite are out of the picture, who are people wanting as a right sided centre back?

I'm not 100% convinced we'll sign another one but I think most of us hope we do.
 
Another vote for cresswell but think it’ll be the fiorentina lad or someone out the blue like Alderete was

Tbf either way, I think the club know we need more, I don’t think we will be seeing if we do or not. We need winger depth and RLB has already said a few times we want one according to Phil Smith.

if Alese and Seelt are leaving out on loan or whatever we will need another CB for me.
