He has more than enough quality for Villarreal, Real Sociedad, Betis, and even Atlético to have gone for him at that price.
Common theme of lot of our targets when foreign fans say why he’s going to Sunderland :emoticon-0102-bigsm

Santi and sacha say Bournemouth and Lille have reach total agreement and the player is set for a medical.

but he’s on the bench for lille now….

interesting

Well if this lad Alderete gets confirmed, then for me another RB has to be the next priority

A 2nd CB and forward are nice to haves imo

Another CB is a must for me. We don't have the depth imo. A full season on loan is the best thing for Seelt's development. Alese can't ever be relied on. That leaves us with O'Nien (currently injured), Ballard and Aldarete (assuming he signs).

You'd assume that Huggins and Hume are our 2 RB's now. Not sure we need another personally.

If we're worried about Cirkin and Reinildo and have bought another experienced lb in I'd apply the same logic to RB .

Huggins has got the quality, same way Seelt has. And same as Seelt he hasn't had a consistent run of games to get him going.

RB for me is a must

Reinildo can also cover CB if needed

That's the thing he needs minutes. He struggles when he is up against a physical side. Think a loan would be ideal for him. There is definitely a good player there he now needs minutes on the pitch
Do hibs need a defender? Could have a good feeder club there

The difference for me is that Cirkin is currently injured and Masuaku was available on a free.

If you get another right back, you have to loan Huggins out because you can't be sitting 3 deep.

Cirkin will be back from injury in September. That's 3 LBs competing.

At RB we have 2 players with zero premier League experience, one of which hardly played any games in the championship (through no fault of his own)

And yes, if needs be get Huggins a loan with a recall. If we're saying Seelt needs a loan and can't be relied on to cover CB, I'll say the same about huggins
