Yeah. Only question for me is if he’s quick enough.Cresswell. Would like us sign some British youth if we can as the resale value will be very high

Still think this is a possibility, especially if seelt goes out on loanI know it’s a bit premature as we haven’t even got 1 in but what are the chances we would get 3 centre backs in? This Paraguayan lad and Lucumi as left sided cover and Ballard and another lad for the right side?
Seems unlikely but Ballard has been a sick note in the past and I wouldn’t like to go have only 2 high quality centre halves available
Heres hoping, probably means lucumi is off but this lad looks good
I want him to go to the championship, he's really good in possession - love when he steps out with it. He has to get better dealing with direct balls, he really struggles with this and I worry he doesn't get that in holland. The key will be getting 1st team minutesReally like the look of Seelt tbh. Don’t think he’s ready this season but a good loan to a top Dutch side or a championship team and I think he could do the buisness for us
Said in the match thread, I would be perfectly happy to see this version of JS line up next weekend. He’s shown good instincts, he’s mobile, his passing and carrying is standout. Definitely a prem player in there for me.Really like the look of Seelt tbh. Don’t want cresswell if we sign alderete. Need someone with some ball abilityCresswell. Would like us sign some British youth if we can as the resale value will be very high
Yeah he’s looked great stepping out in the Augsburg game so far. Hopefully a team like Stoke or Preston need a CB on loan so he can really learn to head a ballI want him to go to the championship, he's really good in possession - love when he steps out with it. Yep hes looked good against the foreign opponents but struggled against the more physical British teams and that massively worries meYeah he’s looked great stepping out in the Augsburg game so far. Hopefully a team like Stoke or Preston need a CB on loan so he can really learn to head a ball
The rumour kicking about is he’s off to NijmegenYeah he’s looked great stepping out in the Augsburg game so far. Hopefully a team like Stoke or Preston need a CB on loan so he can really learn to head a ball
Can he take pens? Could do with the Paraguayan McPhail.Takes free kicks
I 100% agree with the bit in bold. I'm old school and want my defenders to be no nonsense tough defenders first and foremost. If they can't pass great then that's why we have Xhaka, Diarra etc. Win the ball, give it to someone who can then progress the ball.Lucumi was dragging on and whether people on here agree or not, the club are obviously keen to get a CB in for the first game of the season.
Seems like an excellent price. Big, strong lad, performed well last season and had loads of experience in a top league.
Sounds like just the job to me. Can partner Ballard straight away, get Reinaldo into left back and then we can be a bit more patient with any other targets, working up to the deadline if that's what's needed.
He might not be as much of a ball player as Lucemi or as fast, but I think they are a little overrated as traits given that we will be deep and compact for much of the season.
He’s currently otherwise indisposedDiarra get on the phone now

He has more than enough quality for Villarreal, Real Sociedad, Betis, and even Atlético to have gone for him at that price.
