Think a lot of that stuff goes over their heads, they just like to claim it’s the ‘cartel’.They also forget that a very significant proportion of City’s investment was behind the scenes in the infrastructure to enable sustainable success.
It’s that side of things they should have been questioning for the last three years. Queen Mandy was easily able to distract their attentions elsewhere though. It’s taken a window like this for the veil to start to slide for them.

Think people are probably aluding to the likes Ba Pembele Hemir etc more than seelt triantis and coI'm not as keen as some to 'ship out' existing players and I think the club will play it carefully.
Until we're sure who's being brought I can't see Alese, Seelt, Hjelde even Triantis going anywhere ... although I'm sure some will.
And I'd love to know what RLBs plans are for O'Nien, I doubt any of us have a clue.
another of the 4 is apparently giving them this season because they stuck by him during the ban but then wants to move back to ItalyI’d say they have 3, maybe 4 top quality players in their squad, and one of them wants to leave.
They’re a long way from being genuine title contenders.
Its probably common across most loans just not all the details get out in to the media unless your a media behemoth like Chelsea
On your last paragraph mate and this isn’t an argument as I know you’re as positive as me about us. Most of if not all of our new players have top flight experience and some sort of international experience and some CL experience. On top of that our young squad will no doubt have some that can step up to the challenge and learn from the new players.
What’s to say we’re in a relegation fight, in my view we aren’t with what I’ve just mentioned until proven otherwise.
I can’t wait to see us in PL action it’s the most I’ve been excited since the Peter Reid days.

It's why I'm excited, I feel we've needed a 9 that is only a 9 and not a winger too. Brings a natural instinct in the box. He's not quite a 'focal point' but he does have some physicality and height.3 total different profiles up front now too
Wilson great running off the last man (if he’s learned the offside rule) good finisher
mayenda excellent running with the ball can create things from nothing
Guiu traditional striker focal point to hit when up against it and good presser
exciting
Don’t get first team minutes at his age, even limited as they are for Barca and Chelsea if you don’t have something about you, hopefully he’s this seasons AmadIt's why I'm excited, I feel we've needed a 9 that is only a 9 and not a winger too. Yeah, he’s definitely one of the top 3 of theirs in my mind.another of the 4 is apparently giving them this season because they stuck by him during the ban but then wants to move back to Italy

I've never really understood this regional divide thing. It wasn't that long ago that both Manchester and Liverpool were two of the biggest ****holes in England, yet players still would kill to go there.Good post mate.
I've said this many times before but we all have to appreciate that the far North East many be special to us but it's far far away in reality.
I don't believe either NE club will, ever again, force themselves to the top of the tree.
The Mags like to think that being a stag/hen night city, with a drinking culture, will appeal to millionaire players and their wives ...
... in reality they'll always have an eye on a southern club or Manchester/Liverpool at a push.
Now Newcastle have found they have to literally bribe the purely mercenary inclined players, to go there, the whole thing will implode.
Whoever put Newcastle forward, to the Saudis, will be worrying about their future ...
... heads will roll![]()

I think our region has made enormous strides to modernise the area.....Newcastle certainly has,and I think Sunderland are well on their way in the same direction. Durham has always been an absorbing city and the countryside round about, stretching from the Northumberland coastline, south of Sunderland and westwards inland,is amongst the finest in the country.
I understand it isn't London....but nor is Liverpool.

Yeah,we have to trust our recruitment people. We definitely need a 9 player, even this pre season, a poacher type would have got a few goals. Mayenda has developed well but has looked to not be at the standard against better opposition during the pre season games, movement and anticipation been lacking and defenders have just boxed him off.
I do think mayenda could be the second striker on the press, turn and drive up. Rather that than a centre midfield player being asked to be so high up the field.
Will this guy be the difference, hope so but he is very inexperienced. Would have liked a bit more / established player with more games behind.
However, 6.2, presses and he does look like more of a poacher, so the variables are there.
Or Juan is a wind up ?
Genuinely cant remember him posting anything so sorry if he's genuine
He shouldn't have took her to the Cooper Rose!I remember a player turning us down because his wife refused to move up here because there was no waitress
