Those of them that are still in the denial stage of grief over this window are blaming all their woes on PSR still but that requires some serious wilful ignorance.PIF buying Nunez to fund Liverpools next bid for Isak is funny. I'd be furious.
Still not sold on guiu as a focal point but he's hopefully come on a bit since he was last playing. Regardless it's a lot of energy in our 3 options and should cause some bother.3 total different profiles up front now too
Wilson great running off the last man (if he’s learned the offside rule) good finisher
mayenda excellent running with the ball can create things from nothing
Guiu traditional striker focal point to hit when up against it and good presser
exciting
Not Again! You've gone from 3 to 2 to 1....even a broken clock!
I think it’s dawning on them that just because they are allegedly the ‘richest club in the world’ does not make them the biggest or for that matter the best. Becoming the biggest takes decades not months. For the Mags it’s not just players turning them down this window, it’s not just their star players coveting moves to bigger, better clubs but it’s the realisation of just how low they are in PIF’s priorities, it’s the (very slow) understanding of their place in the pecking order it’s….it’s…..glorious.
I do reserve a slight concern that a lot of it can be transformed over night with a click of MBS’s fingers in response to increasingly public criticism and damage to their reputation. It’s why I was keen to understand their mentality as I guess there’s equally a chance they’re stubborn and double down.
RLB, Guiu, CB?????Not Again! You've gone from 3 to 2 to 1....even a broken clock!
They probably had it in their mind that they were the next Man City constantly challenging for titles.I think it’s dawning on them that just because they are allegedly the ‘richest club in the world’ does not make them the biggest or for that matter the best. They're so thick....on the pitch, they're ok....it's off the pitch they're a shambles. Not for the first time!I think it’s dawning on them that just because they are allegedly the ‘richest club in the world’ does not make them the biggest or for that matter the best. I'm all for this Guiu loan ... I always expected one for this position as there just aren't CFs, of his quality, available to sign imo.
He'll only need a short time to settle in and I'd expect to see him on the first bench.
Despite the flapping about missing planes and swoops from other clubs it seems the club are quietly taking care of business.
I'm sticking by my belief that we'll soon bring in a CB on loan but hopefully with an option to buy.
I'm really enjoying this transfer window as I did the Roy Keane one ...
... although this is clearly the best plan we've ever had, we're blessed.[/QUOTE
A loan for a cb would probably mean a young player I was hoping for somebody with a bit of experience for cb
I think the claim was that the three were the RLB announcement, Guiu and one other we don’t know about. Not Again! You've gone from 3 to 2 to 1....even a broken clock!
I’d say they have 3, maybe 4 top quality players in their squad, and one of them wants to leave. They're so thick....on the pitch, they're ok....it's off the pitch they're a shambles. Not for the first time!
Nice to see Louise Taylor sticking it to them too

Ok,so is Guiu done?I think the claim was that the three were the RLB announcement, Guiu and one other we don’t know about.
One was removed for RLB being announced, another has presumably gone for Guiu being done leaving the ‘unknown’.
he having his medical should be done todayIs Guiu done?
There's a reason why this lad has played and scored for both Barcelona and Chelsea by the age of 19. I'm certain that more fans will be complaining that we didn't have an agreement to buy in place by the end of the season.
They also forget that a very significant proportion of City’s investment was behind the scenes in the infrastructure to enable sustainable success. They probably had it in their mind that they were the next Man City constantly challenging for titles.
What they’ve forgotten is it took Man City a few years to be this good after the takeover, and that was without PSR restrictions (something Newcastle completely complain about, but decided to vote in favour).
It’s almost like they’re only complaining about PSR because it’s hampering them, nothing to do with the ‘good of the game’ etc.
Cretins.
Is Guiu done?
