I'm all for this Guiu loan ... I always expected one for this position as there just aren't CFs, of his quality, available to sign imo.

He'll only need a short time to settle in and I'd expect to see him on the first bench.

Despite the flapping about missing planes and swoops from other clubs it seems the club are quietly taking care of business.

I'm sticking by my belief that we'll soon bring in a CB on loan but hopefully with an option to buy.

I'm really enjoying this transfer window as I did the Roy Keane one ...

... although this is clearly the best plan we've ever had, we're blessed.

Canny pod on roker report with Tom white this morning, it’s on Spotify but I can’t get the link to copy for some reason (sure one of the young ones can help), nothing groundbreaking transfer wise, confirmed we’re in for lucumi but we all know and expects atleast 4 more in, assuming Guiu is one of them

Gives us essentially a full new 11 with a couple new lads brought in as non starters/depth so puts us in a decently strong position. If we can keep hold of most of our better players from the champ it hopefully gives us plenty of options. still think we are a little light at centre back but I guess once cirkin is back reinildo can fill in there if he ever needs to.

I'm not as keen as some to 'ship out' existing players and I think the club will play it carefully.

Until we're sure who's being brought I can't see Alese, Seelt, Hjelde even Triantis going anywhere ... although I'm sure some will.

And I'd love to know what RLBs plans are for O'Nien, I doubt any of us have a clue.

Guiu Dortmund lad and the centre backs I’d assume, think smug could be onto something with a loan to buy too keep some money in, Tom eluded to those deals being late in the window too so we might have to accept there’s a good chance we don’t have one for West Ham, never say never like
I'm confident that 1 signing will be a loan to buy, I'd like a real quality winger to come in and I don't mind this being a loan with a view to signing

Think we will use the last domestic loan? Struggling to think of anyone we could bring in from this league

I know there is no place for sentiment in the Premier League but I hope we make an exception for Luke, his enthusiasm, his commitment, his love of the club and support is priceless. He will be invaluable in helping our new lads settle in, who else would you want to bring on in the 90th minute to protect a 1-0 lead. I get people think he could be a liability but the pros outweigh the cons massively for me. He has earned his right to premier league football and without him we wouldnt be there.
