Oh aye, but when you are due to land in Dublin at 10pm, and land at Shannon at 11pm you might as well have landed after a zombie apocalypse. Not a soul in sight.

One time there were three flights diverted. About 250 passengers dumped after 10 and not a hire car in sight. All Ryannair so they didnt give a shiny ****e. Eventually some poor lass turned up and said buses were being sorted. First one turned up was a 16 seater <laugh><laugh> There were two blokes scrapping like good uns over who should get on. I finally caught a commuter bus at about 4am and got to Dublin for breakfast and work <doh>
My cousins used to work there, some interesting tales of Aeroflot pilots and potin back in the day.

Yep, patience all round. That goes for Regis and his coaching team too. They are now coaching against much better coaches, and will be some of the most inexperienced in the league.
Thinking a bit more about patience tonight. Had a look at Forest who stayed up after signing loads of new players. Loat 3 of the first 4. Had 10 points after 10 games. They learned that a point was crucial. 12 points last 10 games. They just kept ticking the board over. Has to be our expectation I think. A 0-0 draw at home to fulham for example, may be good, if we back it up with a point down there. Forest won 4 games before Christmas. 9 in total. Patience is the watchword I reckon. The league is probably a fraction tougher 3 years on.

Spot on post. Patience is the key.

The premier league is tough, but its also not full of world class players in every position in every team.

Hard work and effort will pick up points over skill and half effort.

I think it is tougher.

It might take 45 points or thereabouts, if one of Brentford, Wolves, of maybe Bournemouth don't drop off a bit.

But I might be a bit worried if I was a Brentford fan. We might be doing things differently, but they are having some serious upheaval themselves.

I look forward to a few eating **** for wanting so many of our lads buried.

They've doubted all of our lads from last year.

Bit much. I don't think there's anything wrong with accepting there's a big step up in level. The club have replaced 6/11 of our starters from last year, and we know for a fact they are actively looking to replace at least 2 others.

Should KLD, Speakman, and Ghisolfi "eat ****", too?

Fun fact - I met Jim Abrahams, the Director in 1990. I worked with his nephew at summer camp in the states and he came to visit. He was filming Hot Shots at the time

Don't be silly mate, just showing yersel up now man <doh>

No one off this forum ever meets film directors, football players or art dealers ...

... if you're being honest we all just work in call centres or on the night shift at Nissan.

Bob wasn't a guest of Hearts, Malaga never spoke to Xhaka and Defoe never went to visit anyone in Sunderland.

We all just live in a tiny little world with an SR postcode and speak when we're spoken to.

And you've never passed time with Le Bris so stop pretending and remember to get me a pint at Sheepfolds like you promised <laugh>
