Small private plane advised not to travel due to the storm incoming.
Its not like hes coming in on an a380. Bit of a delay, nothing to worry about imo

I am in the midlands, winds already picked up in the last couple of hours. Was lovely on my allotment at 3. Now it is bending the trees. No idea how the small private planes do in winds - probably fine - but I have been diverted from Dublin to bloody Shannon twice because of winds. And no bugger goes to Shannon if they can absolutely avoid it![]()
Home of the Irish coffee and just down the road from Bunratty. I love Shannon as a gateway to county Clare.I am in the midlands, winds already picked up in the last couple of hours. I dread to think how much the insurance costs let alone the restrictions on these private jets. They're highly insured and unable to fly in adverse conditions, especially wind.
They suffer much more than commercial flights due to their weight, etc ...
... we used to have problems getting flights into Nice, especially from the UK.

Passengers worth millions, the are probably more regulated than an easy jet flight to malaga

Having seen the plane, luxury or not i dont think i would fancy a tiny plane in the weather thats forecastOnce they're airborne they're travelling fast enough to create their own 'airspace' ...
... the big problem is that you may arrive into weather conditions worse than expected and you have to significantly reduce your speed for landing.
That's when things become very frightening![]()
surely we will find out more tomorrowWe’re all just speculating of course but I reckon if it was weather related, the club would have briefed the media as such.
By this I mean somebody has told Keith that the flight was postponed but it’s still expected to go through. If it was a simple reason such as weather they’d surely have said.
Thats due tomorrow and even more reason to get him in the area
something up here

If the deal was off, they wouldn't have briefed that the deal was still going ahead.
Poor goldfish. Fair play. I wouldn’t want another Zouma situation.I think he was keen on Italy at one point until we came in. I reckon it will be some really nefarious reason like his goldfish has swimbladder and he is staying to administer medicine.
Oh aye, but when you are due to land in Dublin at 10pm, and land at Shannon at 11pm you might as well have landed after a zombie apocalypse. Not a soul in sight.Home of the Irish coffee and just down the road from Bunratty. I love Shannon as a gateway to county Clare.

There were two blokes scrapping like good uns over who should get on. I finally caught a commuter bus at about 4am and got to Dublin for breakfast and work
Swimbladder can be treated if caught early mate. My source says Giui is an avid Ichthyophile.Poor goldfish. Fair play. I wouldn’t want another Zouma situation.
