I’ve seen a few worries about the scale of change in the club which is probably a fair concern however our injury list currently includes:
Patto, LON, Alese, Hjelde, Mundle, Rigg, Isidor

All of who arguably have a sizable role to play in the squad overall

I also think Roberts may start ahead of Talbi

got think Neil is off though. Backed himself into a corner with the contract and basically seen himself out the team
Roberts will be away mate, I reckon anyway. As a young lad he faffed about and missed too much game time. Doubt he hangs around for bits and pieces at this stage. Hopefully club reasonable with his price so he can play for a decent champ side.

I think Neil would be getting minutes now if he accepted his contract offer
Just my opinion, but really hard to go from starting 40 odd games a season, to getting minutes. He seems to have an elite mentality to me, shone through in the play offs, just dont see him being satisfied with a squad role. I wouldnt be at all - I am old fashioned but training all week to not play is the worst for players.

It’s been money for the last year and now he’s got a better offer it’s still not big enough. Two people at fault as I see it.. Neil. His dire agent. Not in that order.

Neil will only stay if he's guaranteed regular minutes in the Premier League, that's come from someone close to Dan Neil.

I know we need new CBs but we don’t know how long it will take to get the quality we’re after. Would anyone sh1t their pants if we played against West Ham with Reinaldo and Ballard in the centre and Huggins on the left with Hume on the right?
Oh there is certainly 2 or 3 that have and will continue to **** there pants if thats our centre back pairing against went ham, let alone Hume amd huggins at fullback.

There isn't a nappy in the world big enough to cover for the pants sitting 2 or 3 would need if thats our starting back 4

I don’t think Paddy goes.

Maybe January if he’s not getting a kick but I think he will get time off the bench enough to stay.

I disagree about the elite mentality mind.

Surely someone with an elite mentality would have knuckled down and fought for their place in the team to show they deserved to be playing? None of us know if that’s happened or not, but I get the impression he’s not done that.

For me the writing was on the wall for Neil in the playoffs. 2 of the biggest games in the clubs history and RLB couldn’t trust his captain to stay on and make a difference

Mate, the minority want Neil gone. They will only get louder if he stays.

Its best for both parties he leaves. Patto will follow then 09.

No point arguing, their minds are made up

Face like a slapped arse on the Portugal videos in a really exciting fortnight when players were coming in.

Rest of the lads all bouncing and joking.

Poor look for the captain.

Anyone cleverer than me be able to have a play about with some data which could provide some thoughts on what centre halves or wingers we're after? Similar to the keeper one?

Maybe an idea for an article/thread for the lads who do the new twitter data analysis stuff.

It’s like the ‘minority’ have been watching our games and noticed our new midfield players are levels above what we had last season.

I think the ‘minority’ would be happy for him to stay and be back-up, but Neil seems to think he’s above that.

Good luck to the lad. Hope he makes the right move for himself.

Neil fan here but you can’t really plan with him if he’s not signing a deal, for whatever reason.

Fair comment this. I'd like him to stay, he's in the folklore now as a til the ender, but like you say, how can you plan. Saying that, 24 hours is a long time in football. Things could change
