Absolutely totally agree this is our weakest are for me.Looks like we want to go all out for our top CB targets rather than drop to the next on the list. Shows how important central defence is to us in this window.

Lots of clubs scrambling for them, Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley and Leeds all shopping for the same players and that’s just the EPLCentre backs seem to be as hard as centre forwards at the minute.
Aye its proving difficult but I trust the club to come through.Lots of clubs scrambling for them, Bournemouth, Brighton, Burnley and Leeds all shopping for the same players and that’s just the EPL
Yeah the fee is steep but I guess that's what happens when you're clearly desperate. He's obviously a highly rated talent, but for €90m you should surely be getting someone who is already at the elite level?
His goal scoring record is decent but no more than that. What makes him worth €25m more than Gyokeres or €35m for than someone like Boniface?
Don't rule Man U out of bidding again. They need a huge rebuild after last season and unless Amorim is a total idiot he'll know they need another striker or they'll be as ineffective this season as last.
I can not go to any games now but am still a huge fan and supporter of my club. Attendance at games is fantastic but I show my support by getting up at 2 and 3 in the morning to watch games before going to work.
We all follow our own path following the club and TBH supporting from afar has many problems but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
What a player he’s been for Spurs. 127 goals and 71 assists in the PL

You’re right. As supporters we generally don’t know anywhere near as much as we think we do. It still doesn’t stop us though! He's a Spurs legend and one of the best players in the Premier League over the last decade.
I always remember a thread over the road about a year after he joined Spurs where people were calling him ****e and that they'd only have him at Sunderland if he was available for about £6m. I think someone at the time was arguing that Okazaki from Leicester was a much better player.
Shows how much football fans know about the game generally.

They might keep Isak as well as buy this lad. They have the cash.has upside but downgrade on isak but arguably everyone is
Ballard to pocket him
Might be close to psr thoughThey might keep Isak as well as buy this lad. They have the cash.
I think they were saying because they sold players last year that they had quite a bit to spend under the rules this year.Might be close to psr though
Has form for cutting the overheads to minimum on his businesses and focusing investment in the assets. Just doing Jim Ratcliffe 101.Have they been fertilising the money tree?
A few months ago every odd job bloke and his assistant was getting sacked there to stave off financial Armageddon. There must have been millions of them!
Now it's taps full on again. I know they would have had a budget, and that they have reach others will never have, but they do seem to defy financial gravity!
Would they really want to keep a player who simply doesn't want to be thereMight be close to psr though

Maybe not. But they should flex their muscle and make him stay. It will be a test of the Saudis commitment IMOWould they really want to keep a player who simply doesn't want to be there
Expecting to see a bit better for them as dressing room and training ground get less toxic. Amad and Fernandes would walk into most teams. Mbuemo seems to have right attitude to. Think they’ll score goals so will be in scrap for a europa league place.Aye, he has that form. But almost all the money at Utd is on players wages. He was just feeding rid of relatively small fry.
I think they are goosed myself. Going backwards every year, then a reset, then backwards again.
They wont like. Their owners have ne interestThey might keep Isak as well as buy this lad. They have the cash.
