Anyone heard Wout Faes linked?
Please God no.
Just been sick in my mouth.
Anyone heard Wout Faes linked?
This thread is the full transfer window thread, loads of clubs transfers are being reported on this one - that lot included.I'm not sure the Mags should be included in our Summer window thread
What are we bringing all this up again for?You can be as sceptical as you like and post whatever you think ...
... providing you're prepared to accept that other people may be sceptical of your posts, say so and disagree with your opinions.
That's what chat forums are all about.
You can't have it all your own way, especially as you're just as likely to have a dig as anyone else,

Mmm...there is an another, sort of overall transfer thing. This thread is the full transfer window thread, loads of clubs transfers are being reported on this one - that lot included.
Newcastle have absolutely to option but to refuse the first official offer ...
... they can't be seen to just accept.
Even if it's £200 million they have to come back and say £201m![]()
They do not have to sell him, though there is quite a bit of short term pain in keeping him, and a cash loss too.
But there is tomorrow to think of. They made it quite clear that they were in a good position to strengthen heavily this summer without selling anyone.
So, strengthen. Leave the player to stew. Manage the problem to suit the club, and set a precedent which looks after tomorrow.
That is what a club with extremely solid financial backing would do. They would assert themselves and send out a clear message.
Even if the coaching staff would prefer a sale, that is the approach a knowledgeable, extravagantly wealthy and properly commited owner would take.
Litmus test coming up
AlbanianHows this for a thought...
He was in Switzerland for a stopover. Possibly visiting family after all he is Swiss and has just returned from South America.
He is then travelling back to Germany for training (hence the video) and mentions that he's waiting for the green light to travel to the UK. Doesn;t mean that he was travelling to the UK today does it.
Therefore Malaga could be 100% right and judging from the opinions of those who have met him i can't see whey he would make it up.
Interesting seeing where Ramsdale is on that graph considering the reaction our fans had to the link...You must log in or register to see images
Just something we’ve spoke about but pinching a graphic @JimHeron92 sent me
clear insight into how we’ve recruited keepers imo
targeted keepers that:
- have been busy making lots of saves per 90.
then narrowed down imo with:
- keepers that have been busy and also done a good job at it (positive goals prevented, clean sheets etc)
- crosses clearly a factor as most we’ve been linked to have good claiming ability
there’ll be more too but it’s interesting none the less
That’s just saves per 90. He was busy but then he wasn’t very good at it, not preventing many goalsInteresting seeing where Ramsdale is on that graph considering the reaction our fans had to the link...
Arrived, got a promotion on his cv and bounced, good luck to the lad, played his part so wish him wellYou must log in or register to see media
personally I think his actions have gone past short term pain, don’t think there is any coming back for them
For me this is a bit about them putting on a bit of a show or their fans as he’ll be off
Didn’t think we would hire anyone else, we have a good group of coaches now without himSunderland AFC today confirmed the departure of Pedro Ribeiro.
The 39-year-old moved to Wearside in October 2024 to support Head Coach Régis Le Bris and the Club’s first-team coaching staff and players.
Pedro’s time in the North East culminated in victory at Wembley Stadium in the Championship Play-Off Final, as the Club secured promotion to the Premier League.
Kristjaan Speakman said: “Following the recent restructure within our coaching team, we have been in regular dialogue with Pedro and agreed to mutually part ways. We thank him for his contribution to the Club and for the role he played in our promotion-winning campaign. Everyone at the Academy of Light wishes him well in the next chapter of his career.”
