Haha very true mate. I'd have loved us to be in for Dibbling tho.

<laugh>

Many of these figures come from supporters saying 'They can start at £50m for Jobe' then having to accept reality.

Even with Isak the Mags were saying they'd 'accept' £150m when they'll be lucky if Liverpool don't hang them out to dry ...

... all Newcastle can do is hope a similar club come in for him and start an auction.

Otherwise Newcastle have a few weeks to either claw a deal out of it or watch Isak run his contract down and get nowt.

Yeah I agree with that.
The mags have to be dubious of the owners now. I'm not seeing signs of them wanting to really push their club forward. Not like KLD is doing for us.

Funny I remember arguing with mags a few years ago about the blood money in their club. They laughed when I said I wouldn't swap KLD for theirs. Still stand by that now. KLD has been nothing but incredible for our club.

I think it would be Lukes responsibility as club captain and not Dan's as match day captain (which he won't be for much longer imo). :emoticon-0105-wink:

I get your point but I can't agree tbh.

Sunderland's captain should be the main man in any situation ...

... if he wasn't at the forefront he's as good as gone imo.

I can't imagine Charlie Hurley allowing a new player to just stroll in and rule the roost tbh.

Not sure he was even at the ground though, the players that played weren't there in the video (apart from Ballard)

If he doesn’t want to join then that’s fair enough but would be a bit strange considering the links have been there for weeks, you’d of thought if he had no interest it would of been mentioned way before now.

Do have to get that centre half sorted though, we’ll be working hard on that. Sure we’ll hear something over the next few days
