He’s class, when fit that is, also plays in a position we’re well stocked in and would be on a fortune, seems like a non starter money would be better used elsewhere imo
The biggest issue with Mount is his injury record - quakity player and meant to be a top pro. He would give everything for the shirt and would improve our squad and give us a player with experience.

I can't see it happening as wages would be high and by all accounts the United Manager really rates him

I don't recall much about that year except a punch up at the Wetherby Whaler chip shop <laugh>

We'd beaten Birmingham 2-0 and were on our way home, to Mansfield, when a Birmingham minibus showed up and came in behind us.

We were 5 lads, from a pit village, so used to idiots thinking the odds of 2-1 would be in their favour ... oops.

Would be a good rehab centre project mind but a risk that right now isn’t worth taking for me

Best bit? Only speaking English in training. The idea of having multi-lingual stuff in training would have blown my mind. It would have been a disaster for cohesion and connections that Regis loves.
Something Wenger always insisted on. In training, around the club when most were there and mostly during matches, though he did say that " certain things" might be said in French!
By and large essential though. For clarity and harmony.

"While Arsène Wenger didn't strictly insist on English being spoken at Arsenal, he recognised its importance and made efforts to improve communication within the squad. He learned English himself and encouraged his players to do the same."
