When Hendo went to Liverpool, and found Rodgers replacing Dalglish, he couldn't get a look in. Rodgers tried to off load him to Fulham as a makeweight in a transfer. Hendo refused, eventually got in the team when there was a bit of a flu outbreak, and just made himself a fixture.
It's down to the player too.

We were rated as the worst team in the PL and now we're not ...
... two or three more signings, like this, and the odds will change again.
Of course it'll be tough, half of the PL will be in a relegation battle.

Yep. Coupled with a good coach, should drive both on.
Claiming crosses is never really on a goalkeeper’s highlight reel tbf. Seems to always just be reaction saves.

What i have noticed with this lad and the other keepers linked is he doesn’t parry the ball out in to dangerous areas he keeps hold of it.
