To be in that euro21's team must mean he is pretty good.Seems a step down from Petrovic and Bulka, but I’d much rather buy him than ramsdale or johnstone

Yeah, that's a big shout that. Some serious players in that selection.
Just had a mega breakthrough season tbf but mainly watched him in the eurosI’ll be gobsmacked and very impressed if any of our guys know all about this fella.
6'4How tall is this warrior?
I get that, but we are losing too many for my liking, Neil should be the last main player out the door for me. Keep that squad cohesion. We will be reliant on these lads this season at some point. Just my opinion of course.i think moving him and patterson on are no brainers
gives massive psr headroom
additionally both likely to be on the best at best
is what it is, particularly with neil. Even if he signs and knuckles down the mountain is massive to get in that midfield for me.
Players will outgrow us and we'll outgrow them, it is what it is and this has been exacerbated by the neccesary accelerated growth. I'd imagined that going up would have been great and you were caveated by parachute payments to become a yoyo club but i think it's clear they are doing what they can to give survival a real go because if they do it, we can pull up the proverbial draw bridge and become a mainstay.
It’s almost as if our recruitment team know what they’re doing. You must log in or register to see media

Great stuff! Thanks for posting that mate. Here’s the write up
GK: Robin Roefs (2002, NEC Nijmegen)
The way I like to assess goalkeepers is with my made-up Makes It Look Easy™ test. Think of the best goalkeepers in the world - Alisson, Neuer, and the like - and consider how simple they make goalkeeping look. Their routine catch is another’s spectacular save; they never look flustered.
Robin Roefs makes the difficult look easy. Bar the couple of goals he let in against Finland in the tournament opener, the 22-year-old was impressively assured in everything he did. His handling was really clean, particularly the scoops on those bobbly shots; his shuffling footwork was an outstanding detail of his game; he was quick to close angles and spread himself big and assertive catches on crosses into the box took pressure off his defenders. The techniques were textbook.
What about his ability on the ball? That was also assured. He moved it quickly and securely in build-up off both feet, while his launched kicks had an effortless height and range to them which gave his team an extra second or two to squeeze up the pitch.
His best performance was probably the semi-final against England. Harvey Elliott scored two but would’ve had four were it not for Roefs, who made a handful of sprawling saves in the first half that kept the Netherlands in with a chance. It capped an eye-catching tournament performance from a very promising goalkeeper.
That’s good to hear. It’s important that we’re seen to try hard to keep him. If he chooses to leave after that then we’ve done all we can do.There is no doubt the club want to keep him. They have offered him, significantly improved terms. If he leaves it's down to Neil thinking he can do better.
Fair play to you. I used to be obsessed with the Dutch league and would go over and watch Vitesse Arnhem frequently. Never bothered with it for years now, though.Just had a mega breakthrough season tbf but mainly watched him in the euros
Still think we will have a few surprises on top of those, will sign a few with the future in mind imoOk....so,assuming Xhaka and Roefs are done deals...a big, strong, pacy CB and a front line predator, who can get goals anywhere across the front line, and I will think we'll be done and ready.
We need 2 centre halfs for me, another winger, a striker and possibly right backOk....so,assuming Xhaka and Roefs are done deals...a big, strong, pacy CB and a front line predator, who can get goals anywhere across the front line, and I will think we'll be done and ready.
