When we signed Asamoah Gyan was a big statement as well we just never really followed it up.Is this the most impressive signing we’ve made in living memory? I’m struggling to think of a better one.

Yeh,I get the concern. There were times last season when Patto worried me,...his reluctance to come for a high ball and,in particular, his distribution. However, without his brilliance,we'd have lost at Wembley. Moore just seems solid to me....we haven't seen him a lot,but he seems capable. All that being said, a great goalie could be the difference between us stopping up or not,so I wouldn't be against an upgrade,I just don't see it as important as a centre-back and a striker.Agree we need a forward and at least 1 centre back for the start but I am concerned if Patto dosent make it and we have to rely on Moore then again the lad could prove me way wrong
Yeah I agree, Anderson better as an all round player, Mcatee is decent but never stood out for me - think he would be better placed a move abroadIs he really that good?
He was decent in the U21s earlier this summer but not a lot more than that. I thought Anderson was better. Maybe it's just the City thing?
Hopefully. Watching highlights of Xhaka when he's been at Leverkusen he should give the forwards plenty of opportunities alone.Gonna say it btw, Isidor will shock everyone, yes his all-round game isn't fully there but that man will thrive off our new midfield, his runs are great and he's lightning fast
As long as he looks to stay on his feet.....goes to ground far too easily.Gonna say it btw, Isidor will shock everyone, yes his all-round game isn't fully there but that man will thrive off our new midfield, his runs are great and he's lightning fast

He's going to get a lot of nudging from these PL defenders, and if he goes down everytime, they'll control him.You want to go to ground in the prem tbf. You need to make sure you're doing a triple somersault to get anything out of the refs though
had a lot of nudging from Ampadu at Leeds and turned him and finished it great. He will impress for meHe's going to get a lot of nudging from these PL defenders, and if he goes down everytime, they'll control him.
Hope so mate.had a lot of nudging from Ampadu at Leeds and turned him and finished it great. He will impress for me
He just needs to watch a few videos of Gordon and Bruno from up the road to see how it's done. They seem to have mastered how to win free kicks from nothing. You want to go to ground in the prem tbf. You need to make sure you're doing a triple somersault to get anything out of the refs though
Yep, needs to start staying on his feet. He's going to get a lot of nudging from these PL defenders, and if he goes down everytime, they'll control him.

Also with VAR watching every move, any shirt pull that they could have got away with in the champ won't apply here as much.Ampadu is ****e to be fair though not quite the same as turning the likes of VVD, Saliba and Dias lol. He defo needs to play on contact though, you don’t get rewarded for staying on your feet in the modern game.
Anderson was so much better in my opinion. In fact I would go as far as saying I thought he was the best central midfielder in the tournament. Is he really that good?
