Funny old game as someone once said.
I fell in love, many moons ago with Italian football. It had a soul and a romance about it I loved. It also attracted some of our best footballers and I loved watching them over there. Hately was a real favourite of mine at the time. Now I still watch more Seria A than any other top league (may have to change that now) and I am seeing an array of British talent lighting up the league again. Full circle for me really.

I was hoping a few might join in but loads of people are on the list.
Quite a few have even offered to buy SOL tickets for people, free of charge, if anyone's not flush.
It reminds me of when I ran the Mansfield bus and we'd go to almost every game.
I'd stick £1 on everyone's subs and, if ever anyone was laid off or on the sick, there'd be enough in the pot to keep them going.
Life was simpler then and we all just stuck together.
People may knock it now, as sentimentality, but we looked after each other and supported the Lads.
If this collective works as it looks like doing my life will have gone full circle after half a century following Sunderland.
