If people are getting battered for posting stuff like links from journalists here and OTR, getting called out for being sceptical over a link or a piece of ITK when that’s exactly what it’s for then I’m done here.

100%. Love a good debate haha. But the grief I’ve gotten off people who clearly are all pals and know each other because I dared be sceptical about a posters story is insane. I’m an attention seeker apparently, and that’s why I post links on here and RTG. Need to give my head a shake and I’m questioning someone’s integrity. Just feels really strange the pile on.

He was in Switzerland for a stopover. Possibly visiting family after all he is Swiss and has just returned from South America.
He is then travelling back to Germany for training (hence the video) and mentions that he's waiting for the green light to travel to the UK. Doesn;t mean that he was travelling to the UK today does it.
Therefore Malaga could be 100% right and judging from the opinions of those who have met him i can't see whey he would make it up.
Just got in after a good night out round the town and looked straight at this site for a bit of gossip. Couldn’t give a toss if links are right or wrong, just appreciate people passing on what they’ve heard. I know most bits of gossip will be incorrect because very few know what’s really going on, but keep it coming. It’s better than just refreshing the SAFC.COM site for information.

Xhaka has been training in Leverkusen today. He was clearly not "In a hotel in Zurich on a stopover before travelling to the UK".
Some or all of the story is incorrect. It's as simple as that. There's a small chance that all of the information was correct at the time, but that would mean that the deal is definitely off if Leverkusen have allowed him to travel to the UK and suddenly demanded him back in training.
It makes the 4d chess they were playing with Liverpool look even more bizarre.
