So, did you read the post in question? There was a report this morning saying we were going to offer that, that wasn't me saying we were gonna offer that

We only have ballard and seelt atm. Ballard has had injury problems and seelt is just back from a bad injury and untested. Dread to think if one of them picked dup a knock before then

I think we have the makings of a very good defence if we can shake off the injury hangover, sadly I think we’re a season behind with everything.

Alese has the quality, Ballard needs a good solid season and Huggins could do with a run of games. We’ve no idea how O’Nien or Cirkin will cope, they could surprise people.

I’d guess RLB will go for a proven CB on loan or a purchase if he’s the right man for the job. Having an experienced Champions League defender, in Reinildo, will definitely help and we’ll see where he plays in the friendlies, perhaps we’ll get a surprise. I’ve think he’s been ignored a little but he has the experience we need in my opinion.

I’ve taken the stance of ignoring previous injuries tbh, once they're declared fit I clear the slate …

… who knows, Alese may never be injured again.

You didn't introduce it as a report....you posted it as a statement of fact.

still an active deal but bayer don't want to sell, suspects we will offer a bit more but probably won't meet the valuation

Im owa the moon with what weve done so far, totally above what i thought we’d do.

i actually think reinildo will end up being one of our best signings. Just hope we get the cbs in too. Am sure the club will have it all in hand though

Seelt has defo eased the pressure on signing 2 cbs (I still want two mind). Would really like one in this month to get settled in before West Ham.

Seelt could end up having the impact I thought Alese would and being an asset for us this year. Still think I would like two centre backs coming in, loan out Seelt at the end of the window to give him regular first team footy and then reassess Alese in January with him being injured for the rest of the window.

Still think we get at least 1 possibly 2 confirmed by the end of the month.

It’s also pointless saying “you make it sound like ITK” considering pretty much all ITK “stuff” this window hasn’t happened anyway.

its all just rumour and commenting on rumour and extrapolating rumour

got to apply your own filter to everything and think how likely it is that that person knows fact or how likely they were to bump into and recognise and engage in conversation with a player in a random location.

importantly Seelt’s development makes the second centre back signing low priority for me - I’d say it can wait until late August.

We definitely need the main one in the next week or two I’d say though.
