Shirley high street is in Southampton
Let’s hope for some positive news tomorrow. Still plenty of time left but it feels like next week is going to be crucial. We had a promising start but this window really could go either way still. Leeds have done some good business in the past week and we need a few in to catch up.

Obviously we need a GK, 2 CB’s, Xhaka, Winger and a ST
but I’d be happy with a GK, 1 CB and Xhaka before West Ham
I'd be happy with just the GK and CB before West Ham personally. I think Diarra, Sadiki, and Le Fee have looked great together so far in pre-season.
Obviously want Xhaka, but if being patient gets us him towards the end of the window, I won't be disappointed.
It was but they played something like 4 games together, we can not rely on Alese or ballard to stay fit at the minute - they need to prove it
I think we will use the loan market as well, unsure what position it'll be used on yet
I can't see us just bringing in 1 CB, effectively just replacing Mepham
Do wonder if the club see seelt as Mephams replacement? Just the giant elephant in the room of his injury record, I want 2 added ideally will give us plenty options
Loans be later once it’s clear who’s not going to get a game elsewhere. The second CB being one would make sense on that front.

Just feel CB is such a huge position at PL level and it's often where newly promoted teams go wrong. They either keep CBs that got them promoted or they sign championship CBs. I feel we need 2 then use Ballard, O9 and Seelt/Alese to compliment it. Then loan out Seelt or Alese and Hjelde.
Id lean towards keeping Seelt as I trust him more to stay fit, 1 really bad injury compared to multiple injuries from Alese. I'd love Alese to go and play week in week out in the championship and prove that he can stay fit as he's a talented player
I completely agree. I wouldn’t rule out any of them having the ability to step up but the injury records create too much risk for this season.
We need 2 x CB’s however I think this is a position where a loan could make sense to enable Alese and Seelt in particular to get fit an play games and potentially be ready to step up next season.
Can’t argue with any of that mate, not sure why but I can only see us spending big on one, then either go with what we have or use a loan spot up for the other, just hope diakete is the one we spend on
Athletic Podcast was suggesting the spurs could loan out there young Croatian wonderkid cb. id be all over that if true and we can’t get our targets jn

I’m not sure that’d be the move they’d want him to have where he couldn’t be guaranteed game time. Feel like he has a season in somewhere like Holland. I expect our loan to be someone a bit more established but has drifted down the pecking order. There’ll be a load at Chelsea for example.
