Not really weighed in much over the transfer window as I tend to wait and see where everything ends up.
Pre season always throws up doubts and concerns about squad and first team formations, tactics skill level etc.
Over the years I have seen us have great pre season but dissapointing seasons and very much the reverse when having a good season.
RLB is saying he is looking for good connections and he talks about this a great deal in a lot of his interviews going back to when he was appointed. I don't think this is him talking about just the first team I think this is him referencing the project.
On our transfer business so far IMO I think the club have done very well and if the season were to start tomorrow I am of the opinion that we would compete well, but I do agree that a new CB and possibly a GK will move the needle on our possible finishing places (I do also think the new coaches and the fact our manager seems to be very tactically aware) and push us further up the table.

@Disco down under 20 hour labour. Wife lost a litre of blood. Kid ended up in NICU for a couple of days, mum and kid had to stay in hospital five days with all manner of bumps and bruises but both just got out today and it looks like they are on the mend.

Good news was the first labour was 22 hours and she lost 2.5 litres of blood, so we know for a fact it could have been worse.

There will be no third kid. Not a ****ing chance

Congratulations

Great stuff mate. Congratulations to you, your wife and the bairn. Hope good health follows you all your lives.

The rest can sort itself out!

I think Neil must be leaving now mind. Feels like we are planning for life without him with the signings we are making.

Not necessarily mind. Numbers are the thing in midfield. If I was him, I'd be beating the door down to stay. There will be less pressure on him, he'll definitely get games, will definitely improve as he's a goodun and will have a " set for life" contract in the bag.

Have to say, in my over 62 years of actively supporting this club, don't think I can remember a time when we actually instigated a plan to realise the potential of this great club... Whatever happens next season KLD deserves full credit for breathing life into this sleeping giant, as a fan, its great to see
Coming up to 68 years for me and I can only wholeheartedly agree.I only hope I stick around long enough to see us somewhere near tthe top 6 before shuffling off.
