He’s 32 soon. Not the GK he once was.I find it more strange that Edersons leaving to go to Turkey

Seems our signings aren’t just impressing us.

We’re throwing down a challenge: give us 5 bold predictions for the 2025-2026 season. Here are ours:
Sunderland will qualify for European competition
Lens in the top 5 of Ligue 1
PSG wins back-to-back Champions League
Algeria reaches the World Cup round of 16
Third star for France
Barging at that price, I do think us and Leeds have been attached to him due to both looking at signing a GKYou must log in or register to see media
Hi Everyone. Most on this thread will know there’s a few of us here who like stats and data and scouting of footballers and often provide our tactical opinion on players linked or suggest players to look at.
we’ve decided to put together a page on x where we will be bumping heads to put data together and provide more info to the general Sunderland fan who wants to learn more or to those who maybe haven’t seen or heard of a player we’re linked with. As well as just being a general Sunderland fan page
if anyone’s interested in taking a look the links are below.
credit to @CR17 for some stellar graphic work on the banner and his friend for making our logo

Don’t worry I’ll post threads on here when I can!Hey you almost make me want to rejoin twitter.
is that the Marc Overmas of Arsenal fame? You must log in or register to see media
I don’t believe Ederson will ever reach the performance levels of 2/3 seasons ago again, he was immense. City wouldn’t be letting him go if they believed this was his prime either32 is a decent age for a keeper its when they are in their prime
I reckon he would enjoy that, again.is that the Marc Overmas of Arsenal fame?
as the chnace to screw manure over here
I only saw the highlights from the weekend and they may have played well (and it’s pre season of course) but Mayender and Abdullahi both missed chances we really need to be ruthless with. I think we have three good strikers who could be outstanding but we need one at a higher level for now.Spot on, I have concerns over Isidor. He has lightening pace and that will cause defences problems but his hold up and link up play wasn't of the quality needed last season.
I want someone who can bring others into play, I think Mayenda is getting good at this but be good to have another similar
Abdullahi I'm still unsure on but thats more now to the clubs plans - do we have money ti sign a striker as well as our other needs. I want him to go and play week in week out so I'm definitely leaning more towards getting him a good loan move to learn how to play week in week out
would be brilliant.I reckon he would enjoy that, again.
always up for sorting the graphics, trying to fine-tune my graphic design skills hahaHi Everyone. Most on this thread will know there’s a few of us here who like stats and data and scouting of footballers and often provide our tactical opinion on players linked or suggest players to look at.

will we need two new keepers or just the one?
cant see us getting rid of Patto and Moore in the same winodw,
and will Moore getting the full 90 on Saturday, makes me think that Moore is more likely to stay than patto,
or that is my view.
They did each miss a relatively easy chance they are going to need to take if we are to have anything like a good season. I'm hoping they'll sharpen up.....it's what pre-season is about. I like the movement though....I'm not in favour of a big, conventional No 9 in this team....it's all about mobility and pace....crosses into the box are mostly going to be low,to someone coming on to them.I only saw the highlights from the weekend and they may have played well (and it’s pre season of course) but Mayender and Abdullahi both missed chances we really need to be ruthless with. Its an interesting perspective. I reckon Patto might get 90 mins tonight which might allay that position.
But if Patto doesn't want to be number 2, I can 100% see you being right that Moore stays as number 3 and a new number 2 comes in along with a new number 1. Especially as that would help us with PSR
