We’ve already bidded €27m

personal terms aren’t an issue

if he’s our main target I see us paying close to what they want
Yeh man I’m just not counting my chickens. Can definitely see it feels positive.

We’ve felt this close to Bulka, Petrovic, Mikautadze etc as well. I just don’t want to fall in love again. Not yet. Give me some Fabrizio or Keith to back Fabrice up.

Why would I think what, that one will finish higher than the other or that a betting man would put us both as relegated?

Our defence is sorted, we could do with an upgrade on the keeper. Our midfield was okay with what we had, throw in Stach and Longstaff it’s going to be hard for us to improve on that

We need a striker and a 10 I’ve heard who both might be, I’m more than happy and if we don’t get them, I’m confident alternatives will improve us

‘we could do with an upgrade on the keeper’ may be the greatest understatement in all of history mind mate <laugh>

Best thing about Diakite is he can fill in at right back once O’Nien wins his place back ;)

nah in all seriousness need to not get carried away here. It’s promising but a lot of work to make happen it seems
I’m not sure there is mind

it’s club to club according to fabrice that could be done very quick

Very very comfortable on the ball. One on one defending is strong won 73% of his aeriel duels last season

I just think for our level he’s probably the full package really he’s a top CB
Good age too at 24, club potentially see some resale value which is important for us.

Would not mind dropping majority of the budget left on Diakite and Lucumi. Both would strengthen our back line tenfold.

Then look at a backup to Patto and maybe loan a striker
we need proper number 1 even if it a loan but be great to get both CB’s too

I assumed you meant Meslier, Darlow isn’t bad, on another note, have a look at Celtics goal against Newcastle and how bad Pope was

Aye Pope is poor, he’s never been all that. They were touting him to oust Pickford when they signed him, can only assume they hadn’t watched him play.

I still think we can both stay up. Brentford business looks really poor, Wolves are really ****ing average, and West Ham don’t have a lot.

Add in that there’s always a shock plummet side (could be Forest, too many games) and that Burley just look **** top to bottom, we can both do it.

Darlow always been solid but he won’t win you games. Same as us with Patto.

Do a good job but we’d both like one of them absolute wall keepers.
