So from what I’ve heard mate. Due to us finding out very last minute that from 25/26 every team with stripes has to have a panel on the back in the Premier League, we have had to slap a white square on the back last minute. All the kits were delivered with full striped backs.
This has caused delays. The replica’s will have a striped back but due to short notice Hummel didn’t have time to incorporate a panel design on the player kits so they’ve had to slap a white square on the back.
Not sure when we will reveal it but we will be releasing a statement addressing the issues that have gone on
Brentford have started selling an “authentic version” with a panel and a replica with a fully striped back because of this. I assume they’ve had more time to prepare, we didn’t get promoted till late
Interesting. How hard is it to read a black number on a red and white kit man. That’s fair enough though if it’s not the clubs fault, cheers.
Yeah it’s mental like, to not give us enough notice anyway or at least tell EFL clubs so they’ve could prepare.
Would be okay if we had time and made a panel version that works in the design of the kit
but because of short notice it’s gonna look shabby as we’ve had to wack a white square onto the back instead of having a nice blank panel designed into the kit properly
It's easy to side with the club but they were given plenty of notice, it's just not being clued up enough as they should have been either from Hummel or the clubs side
yeh I don’t think we or Hummel are blameless. Unfortunate mistake not to check and add it to the required specification of the designs
Feel like this in on Hummel, you’d think the kit supplier would consider rules when designing the kit.
We are Hummel only PL kit, can half understand the oversight.
Yeah I mean everyone knew this a year or so ago when it was decided, it's not like the prem didn't tell clubs it was in the bloody news.
All that said I still love Hummel so they’re forgiven
Probably no big deal, in reality a replica kit look **** with a panel unless its name and numbered, which a lot of people prefer not to do.
It must have been recent though, this is only last season
