Maybe my opinion of Xhaka is from his days at Arsenal and he was a fan boo boy and wanted out of Arsenal for a while.

Still can't see this one happening.

Desperate for two centre backs.

I get that, I had a couple of years of just hating him however, his last 18 months or so at Arsenal he was unreal - his last season in particular he was different class and they finished 2nd

Been really impressed with him in Germany, all round game is just very good

Of all the credible links we’ve had, we’ve signed them all other than bulka and petrovic.

Two that might not go our way too are xhaka and lucumi.

Either way every credible link is a really exciting and ambitious signing. Really confident we’ll be pleased with what we end up with come September. Fingers crossed anyways

Obviously nothing is guaranteed in football. But if we manage to sign the two links today. We start to think less of relegation and more who can we catch in that lower mid table section.

He's better in CM imo, good size about him and technically very good (unsurprising for a City player)

Would depend on price for me and whether we are looking at Xhaka or not
