I know we needed an extra midfielder but somebody of Xhaka's quality really does start to put some doubt on Dan Neil for me now. Xhaka you'd think would be pretty much guaranteed to start for us in his role.

Numbers mate numbers. Of all the positions you need numbers in it's right there in the middle.

Hard to see Xhaka signing somehow anyway,(I'm still scarred by some of those who we couldnt get a few short years ago, never mind some we did!) but even if he does, having five or even six capable of playing in the middle is what most clubs hope for.

And Xhaka does like a card or two from memory!

You'd think, with Sacha's specificity on the price and the 3 year deal, we'd already have sounded out if we could afford his wage or not.
Maybe I'm putting too much faith in Sacha!
