Neom seem to be going after Tolisso instead of Xhaka now so maybe this has legs. Xhaka, Lucumi and maybe Diakite (if there's any truth to that) would be unbelievable.

After the various blockages this Tuesday on the Granit Xhaka case, the Saudi club (well supported by Christophe Galtier) wants to bring the Tolisso case to a conclusion.

Tbf to Downie (cant stand the bloke) he does seem to get a lot right about us, even if the majority is at the end of the deal and a tap in after others have reported it. Can only control what come out of SAFC can't control agents or the other club releasing stuff via Fab to get a bit mor interest and a bidding war!

you're right but he hasn't cooled the Lucumi story - just repeated what Fab Romano has. If he was cooling it he'd have done "more" to cool it, if that makes sense?

I know we needed an extra midfielder but somebody of Xhaka's quality really does start to put some doubt on Dan Neil for me now. Xhaka you'd think would be pretty much guaranteed to start for us in his role.

Don't want to get carried away but the specificity of KLD negotiating with Leverkusen and us offering a 3 year deal makes it FEEL like this is advanced and Xhaka has agreed to come.
