Isak will be gone, no way they're spending that sort of money on a second striker
It’s a huge risk for who does get him. Sick note.I worry we might get him.
2 quality players but it also means totally changing their formation
Newcastle strength is the CM 3 imo, they make it so hard for teams to play against them so if they play 2 up top they have less in CM
Saudis hold the cards. He has three years left, though if he gets wind of a top club wanting him, he might get a cob on.Isak away then with his contract talks on hold.
He's a cracking player. But it might be a bit like a lot of Ipswich's signings this time last year. Some of the best in the Championship, handy to get you back up...I'm a huge fan of Josh Sargent and I think he's capable of stepping up to being a bottom half prem player in the right team, but £20m is an outrageous price for him to be fair.
I think the only way they sell him is if he makes it public he wants away. The Saudis can hold outAye would totally weaken their strength, which is the balance CM.
They will sell Isak.
If we'd went up in that first summer, Donald and his mate would have been gone by the start of the next season, as per the plan. All flipped and gone.can 100% see an alternative reality where Donald fluked promotion with that first playoff final, was still our owner chasing premier league status, and signing players like Ings in our 7th attempt to get out of the championship
Isak is going to be the main man with Ekitike as his junior. They've got a lot of games to play this year so both will play plenty - but now they have the option to sometimes use the 442 they did with Wilson and isak.

You’re right but **** me, it didn’t half hurt at the timeAye, people talk about the 6-0 to Bolton being a blessing. But that 90+4 Bauer goal from Charlton was also a blessing
I don't see how this makes sense, one of these scenarios holds true:
They keep and play both or rotate; they use the vast majority of their budget on an area that didn't necessarily need strengthening. Could see them struggle with all the games and lack of depths in CM/CB etc
They sell Isak and he's the replacement; Isak goes for 120m and they buy a CB but they've sold the best striker in the league
Yeah all the talk of strengthening the spine, only really tackled the thoracic spine so far.hoping a GK CB and a striker are next ones through the door
Feel like ****, just want a here we go from Romano about us.
