Isak is going to be the main man with Ekitike as his junior. They've got a lot of games to play this year so both will play plenty - but now they have the option to sometimes use the 442 they did with Wilson and isak.

That’s exactly how I see it

Isak will be away next summer imo

Can’t argue with that. Only a matter of time before they’re competing for the PL anyway :emoticon-0173-middl
Genuinely think the headchopper cash runs out before they make a real run. There are 4 elite established clubs that they'd have to get past to do that - and the richest club in the world is sat midtable waiting for someone competent to arrive.

Burnley, Wolfsburg in talks to sign £20m-rated Sargent
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:

Burnley and Wolfsburg are in talks to sign Norwich striker Josh Sargent.

It’s understood Norwich value the USA international in the region of £20m.

Talks are ongoing with both clubs, but neither have matched the valuation at this stage.

Norwich are in a strong position as Sargent still has three years left on his contract.

Sky Sports News revealed last month that Roma had expressed their interest in the striker, but that’s hasn’t been followed up with any concrete offer at this stage.

The 25-year-old was named in the Championship Team of the Season last term, with 15 goals and five assists in all competitions.

Not sure he’s Premier league material, filling me with more confidence seeing who our competitors are looking at

I'm a huge fan of Josh Sargent and I think he's capable of stepping up to being a bottom half prem player in the right team, but £20m is an outrageous price for him to be fair.

2 quality players but it also means totally changing their formation

Newcastle strength is the CM 3 imo, they make it so hard for teams to play against them so if they play 2 up top they have less in CM

Aye would totally weaken their strength, which is the balance CM.

They will sell Isak.

Personally don't think they'll sell Isak this year, they've just spent 60m on his best mate to keep him around.

Finally signing a backup striker for a UCL campaign is just logical imo.

4th, 7th and 5th whilst winning a cup in the last 3 seasons isn’t ‘mid table’ like <doh>
