I would 100% rather we signed nobody and played Dan Neil in the role he played last season, than signed Henderson and sold Dan Neil. Not even close.

His experience would’ve been invaluable imo, that’s why better clubs than us were after him still at 35. Not the end of the world though we move on.
We have just spent 30 million on a player, we are desperate for a CB and GK (my opinion) therefore i would expect our budget to allow us to sign top quality in these positions. Ramsdale doesn't align with how we go about our business now....

He's not bad. For me, some are exaggerating how bad he is. If he an improvement on Patto? Yes I think so. But not massively so. And certainly not £20m+ massively so.
He's a huge comedown from the links to Bulka and Petrovic and the sensible money would be on us going for somebody of that ilk still. But doubts will remain whilst things are kept quiet.

A lot better on the ball from what I have seen, is younger, and did well at a higher level last season
Could step up massively this year with better teammates and opponents. The potential is there for sure.

Delighted we haven't went near Henderson. Not what we need at all and I think the club know that considering they poured cold water on it every time a rumour did the rounds.
