It was reported last month that Ramsdale was in talks with West Ham and that Potter was a long-standing admirer. I reckon this stuff today is just his agent touting him around for the best deal or maybe West Ham don't want to activate the release clause so Soton are trying to find other bidders. I think we'll be looking for better value on the continent personally
I thought Ramsdale at Arsenal was very good and really unlucky to lose his spot to Raya. He's a northern lad so its not beyond the realms of possibility that he would end up with us...

He’s worth whatever we deem him to be tbf. Young keeper who’s got two promotions on his CV and has been constant number 1 for 3 seasons now.
Basically, if we want Ramsdale and they want Patterson (and both players are open to the move), it’s a no brainer to just offer a swap deal. If they want to reject it then we walk away.

Yeah I agree with this. I’ve seen him play amazing games. Can’t say for certain how much he commands or how good he is with his feet. They are what we need to advance in Patterson. Pointless another shot stopper. Patterson is really good at that.
Ramsdale is a good keeper but I would want to be paying more than £12m for him which is probably a lot less than Southampton want.
