⚪️ Luke O’Nien on Sunderland’s new signings: “️Look at Enzo Le Fee, a player on another level. If I’m playing football, he’s playing another sport sometimes…the things he does. ️He injected a standard that brought people with him — he was one of the biggest reasons we got promoted. ️ Now more players like that are coming in and they are going to make us better as a group. ️I’m buzzing that they’re arriving and I’m going to be surrounded by players of the highest calibre. But listen, don’t bring in any centre halves!” #SAFC
There will have contact between clubs well before that to agree terms and conditions. Same between us and agent on contract. Reaching agreement usually comes after days of negotiations.
Ha'way get the home strip launched see these bonny lads in R+W - excellent start to the window we are really setting up for success (survival)
He's right about Enzo. Neutrals seem to think he wasn't great but his impact was insane, especially in the big games. Debut against Burnley his pass to Isidor should've put us 1-0 up, Boro away, 2 assists in the semi finals and his performance after he dropped deeper in the final was a joy to watch. Barely played in his natural position either. Think surrounding him with better players and playing him consistently centrally will see him be a crucial player next season.
Spot on by Luke that, though I'm sure he can expect some company back there in defence! Talent almost always thrives around other talent.
Jesus, what an erratic Keeper he was. Great memories those days though . He was loved up here but he spoilt it for himself signing for them lot up the road
Yep. Enzo must be horrible to play against, his control is so good players can't get as close as they want, but if they don't, he gets his cross or pass away. PL level player. Poor Luke Ayling must still turn in his sleep after the Boro match. He'll have felt like a cat that got stuck in the washing machine.
