I reckon him and Hjelde will get loans until January. We will sign two CB’s and go with Ballard, Alese and O’Nien as the competition imo. The fact Reinildo could play left side is a bit of security if Alese can’t stay fit.
Totally get concerns with Ramsdale. I just believe he’s a better GK than Patterson. Not particularly arsed if he signs or not. I really wanted Petrovic, shame he’ll join Bournemouth but it’s understandable
But Talbi has potential to grow and is a good tactical fit. Ramsdale has neither.
I also don't think we should be signing a keeper on their ability to develop. Its the one position I want us signing the best possible keeper we can for the here and now.
Majority of players do look to come to a premier league side for regular first team football despite the threat of relegation mind. That’s why someone like Adringa would rather come here instead of sit on the bench at Brighton.
Ramsdale would rather play week in, week out for Southampton instead of sit on the bench for Arsenal. Makes sense since he’d be in the England conversation had Southampton defended better.
Ramsdale would improve us. Plenty of PL experience. It wouldn’t shock me at all if the club were trying to sign him, makes sense.
He’s not thick. It’s ridiculous
anyway, no one knows who we are going for as is evident by this window so, I assume that'll be the same for a new GK too

I don't have his data for the 19/20 season and he barely played in 23/24.
So he either wildly underperforms or just performs to a standard level. Bad bad bad.

I hope that isn't the criteria we base our signings off, right wing is going to be brutal when we bring in Tyrhys Dolan.
