The likes of Anderson, Ba, Pembele and Rusyn will probably be allowed to train in the uk whilst there representatives try and flog themI was saying to @Jarca the other day it'll be interesting how many players we actually take to Portugal I'd of thought around the 24 mark
Wonder what happened to Vanat seemed to be likely right at the start of the windowPromise David, Franjo Ivanovic, Lucas Stassin, Matthis Abline. Any of them and i'm happy with our strikers
Yeah I think perhaps in the first year patto attempted to claim a lot of crosses but we were weaker at set pieces - perhaps him coming out a lot was the reason for this and the coaches have told him to stick to his line more. Definitely an interesting thought. We were strong at defending set pieces last year, if I remember right from RTB's match threads. Could the GK coaching consensus be that it is better to stay on your line unless 99% certain that you can claim / punch the ball? Goals conceded per set play kind of thing, when the keeper comes off his line.
Fascinating. As a general rule, do you share my scepticism about Eredivisie strikers or are Meerdink’s numbers just too good there? You must log in or register to see images
Seems like the Ukrainians playing hard ball and making his price more than we want to pay for him specifically.Wonder what happened to Vanat seemed to be likely right at the start of the window
We have Ballard ( injury prone) alese(very injury prone) onien. Defo need 2 quality center backs imoI reckon one loan will be CB so we can spend relatively big on the other CB. I think decent money will be spent at GK and CB. The other loan probably the striker and perhaps a couple of more modest signings in CM and RB, possibly frees.
I dont think Meerdink is PL quality, decent player and a good prospect but I dont see PL quakity yetFascinating. As a general rule, do you share my scepticism about Eredivisie strikers or are Meerdink’s numbers just too good there?
Next Friday on saleSee I’m not sure the home kit will be revealed. Last week we posted a little teaser on the Wednesday before revealing on the Thursday. We didn’t post one yesterday
I share your skepticism about eredevisie players in general, but watching meerdink i find it hard to deny what im seeing and it certainly looks transferable to the premier league.Fascinating. Totally agree, he gets far more criticism than he deserves imo.Pattos going to keep improving year after year with experience and i fully expect him to be a better version of himself next season.
Yeah that's pretty reasonable, I was saying yesterday he'd be a good option to actually rotate Mayenda and Isidor with whereas a lot of other targets would be expecting to start more.I dont think Meerdink is PL quality, decent player and a good prospect but I dont see PL quakity yet
I think the concern is he hasn't develop year on year and last season was his worst one yetTotally agree, he gets far more criticism than he deserves imo.
He’s gone back over since his first year with us if anythingI think the concern is he hasn't develop year on year and last season was his worst one yet
Think we need our CF buy to be a pretty sure thing, whereas we’ve got a little more traction with the wingers etcI share your skepticism about eredevisie players in general, but watching meerdink i find it hard to deny what im seeing and it certainly looks transferable to the premier league.
Definitely the more risky signing though.

He certainly had a significant dip in form last season, personally I thought he came through it and finished the season pretty well.I think the concern is he hasn't develop year on year and last season was his worst one yet
His best season was arguably the 1st season we went up to the championship and hasn't really kicked on since
