If DN is to leave, it will be one hell of a profit for the club, and more wiggle room with PSR,

yes shame to see him go,

but kinda poetic it would be for JH, who will retire him. His PL exp will be vital.

Yeah i think the fee wouldn't be anything immense but for a player whos obviously never played in the premier league and is pure profit should help us to move the needle towards survival.

As I've said before ...

... JH means the end of DN.

That would be a massive shame but sentiment doesn't win games.

You did mate and fair play to you ... not the first time you've been right.
It doesn’t have to be. If Neil stays to fight for his place Henderson could be the best thing to happen for his development.

Everton and West ham been mentioned in the past. If he stays in this country could see him going to Leeds tbh.

Delighted Henderson is coming back.

IF Dan Neil were to go, then I would want a big physical DM to come in his place.

Not sure why JH would be the end of neil we need at least one more squad option. He’s not going to start every game

I was massively against Hendo as his legs have gone.

however, we’ve signed some serious runners in midfield which will help him. And our sitting in tactic might help him

I also think he’s a perfect mentor for all these young lads so I’m happy enough now on a free to be a good squad option for us. Huge leader

Him and reinildo are great dressing room options

I also think we might sign another midfielder after him. Just a hunch

Pointless rehashing my thoughts on Henderson but I do think if we want him he will come here. Be genuinely surprised if we put an offer on the table and he went to another prem team.

Thought for a while it would end up happening. Don’t think it’ll be too long before we find out

Agree!

Hendo, Neil, Diarra, Rigg, Le Fee, Sadiki as our core of 6 as well as potentially Alan Browne and one more AM?

Since KLD bought the club he has been adamant on sustainability and the club running itself financially. We’ve seen this with lower wage bills in the championship and lower fees to other clubs.

We aren’t just intentionally pissing the prem money up the wall, it has been thought out on these players and we’ve paid the fees that we are happy with and I’m sure financially are sound with (why would kld throw away his strategy now).

There’s no way we can be certain a diarra or Sadiki or talbi will make it in the prem. They are huge risks but ones the club have done their due diligence on.

It’s like fans of other teams think promoted teams can just buy 5 £40m proven prem players and guarantee survival. It’s ridiculous and clubs have to try and think outside the box to try and compete, that’s what we are doing. If it doesn’t work then fair enough, so be it, but all I’ve wanted us to have is a clear identity and strategy and we’ve got that.

I’m just enjoying the ride and what will be will be. Being grounded instead of excited will make no impact on what we achieve next season, so I’d rather enjoy it while I can.

I don't think KLD has totally abandoned his strategy. We've had increased revenue and with it we've bought young players with big up sale value if they perform. Still a risk on all players signed like that.

If JH does happen, then there's a chance the other English player that was mentioned to me might happen as well. Fingers crossed.

Yeah I had some interesting conversations today about adingra and talbi - both seen as being able to at least double our money in a couple of seasons. Any "overspending" doesn't matter if we still make a profit on them
