Henderson would be ideal in this squad like. Lots of runners around him.

Hendo bleeds red and white, and his experience around our young squad would be invaluable.

Even if he didn't play loads, having him around the squad would do wonders I reckon.

Could 'break' might not be a free after all

Interesting. For those that saw it, did he say it might break or did he say announced? As what I first read is that he said we'd announce somebody in the next 24 hours.

I was against Henderson until we signed Diarra and Sadiki both of whom have huge engines and can do a lot of the running. Having Hendo behind them ticking things over, especially if Neil goes, could be a good fit for us, as long as we also get another "destroyer" type.

Would be mortified if we signing Henderson to play and not just as a mascot basically.

Not that fond of him as a mascot either to be honest.

I don't think he'd get much abuse now. Sportswashing has done its job and players going to Saudi has become pretty normalised.

I think people will particularly remember Henderson for years to come. I don't think anyone gives a **** about most heading to Saudi for the money but what he did really hurt a lot of people.

I'd love to know if Keith said we'd announce a player in the next 24 hours or if one will break in the next 24 hours. Seems a minor detail but its a really important distinction to me. And I've seen both referenced here.

It doesn't have to be a free, sadiki broke in the media when it was done, let's see
