Anyone got any update on Neil and Cirkin contracts.....I've probably missed it somewhere? Also,I think I'm right in saying that Huggins and Roberts contracts run out next June?

the reason for different medicals is because each will have their own way of looking for niggles,

its quite common for medicals to take part in stages.

most medicals these days are done in 2/3 sessions,

one for main fitness, muscles and tendors and then cardio,

hope this helps
This is probs true but I don't think this is the case for Talbi and Reinildo, I think Fabrizio just reported it wrong, other journalists said Talbi wouldn't be until early this week and others said Reinildo would sign the contract after his holiday

Gareth Hall played left-back for Sunderland after joining them from Chelsea in February 1996 for £300,000. He had previously filled in at left-back for Chelsea, notably against Bolton in November 1995, but his appearances were limited and he moved to Sunderland shortly after.

The useless bugger was a right back

When Sacha on WMS said 8-9 more transfers, did he speak as if Talbi and Reinildo were already confirmed? Can’t remember

Why do I keep reading this? (this is not a dig at you btw)

It’s been 6 days, we’ve had transfers drag on for weeks and months in the past

Just be patient and see what happens. The journalist who broke our interest seems to be confident, what’s changed? A rehashed article from France?
Probably more the fact that Prehab implied it’s getting expensive because of competition from a prem club than this. If it’s bad value for money shame but we can look elsewhere and let someone else play the daft cash.

When we were in League One or the Championship he said that he didn't report on us as we just aren't interesting to the national press.

Which I did genuinely personally kind of understand.

What I don't understand is why now that we're a Premier League club, we're not getting very regular updates from the likes of Sky and the Athletic, like all other premier clubs get. My only logical explanation is that the club are asking the press not to.

All other clubs have their own dedicated The Athletic journalist. We don't... the closest we have are Michael Walker and Phil Buckingham, and they've been radio silent on us for quite a while, not even reporting on our signings. Diarra's transfer was covered by the Athletic's Chelsea correspondent and Sadiki's by one of their "bank" journalists.
**** them we have the big time now, romano

I would like to see some CB links come out soon, we are desperate
My gut feeling is there will be some news out of nowhere this week, I think they will be keen to have at least one in before they fly out to Portugal at the latest

Yeah, I remember the echo saying that and that we wanted a keeper too, before portugal

Worth saying that what we want might not be what we get (re timing). I don't think we'll rush into deals to ensure the players are there in time for Portugal if the deal isn't right for the club or if being more patient can land us the right player.
