I only feel disappointed for him on a human level. Academy lad who will have dreamt of playing in the premier league.

And I hope he still gets the chance to, it just might be somewhere else.

Would assume he's got a decent career ahead of him. I actually think a move will do him some good. Especially if those rumours about him enjoying a night on the town are true.

I'm probably a lone voice here, But I think the club has outgrown Luke O9 as well... great servant, his passion and how much he cares for the club...but is he Premier League standard.. Personally I don't think so
Tbf every season LON has been here there has been doubt over him and each season he’s proved everyone wrong.

I’d back him to work his nuts off and prove everyone wrong again.

as for Patto I’d like him to stay and fight for his place. He’s had no real competition in last few season so this could give him the kick up the arse he needs to improve.

I think a decent keeper to go against will really help patto in the long run,I think he can get a lot better but at times last season thought he was to comfortable with no one pushing him that hard

Keeper pools tend to be matey, I know that was the criticism levelled against Nathan Bishop (too friendly not enough competitiveness) and I know for a fact that Patto and Moore are mates, my dad has a cafe in Shields and they've been in together more than once after training. I think that's just the way things go.

Galatasaray made the highest possible offer to Chelsea for Djordje Petrovic: a total package including a mandatory option, reaching the 20 million euro level with bonuses. If Chelsea insists on not lowering the price, Galatasaray will have to close this chapter and move on to other candidates.

when you consider Browne and Harrison Jones were on the bench for the playoff final, and most of us wouldn’t expect either of them to play in the premier league, you could argue that we actually need two more midfielders. As we’ve lost two, plus them two to be replaced, equals 4 new ones

We're not even in the running according to this bloke...
Hope not. His beard is dreadful.

I think that says Galatasaray's highest offer is a loan with a mandatory purchase, and that Galatasaray won't offer a sell back so if Chelsea want one they'll move on

"Galatasaray made the highest offer possible to Chelsea for Dorde Petrovic: a total package with bonuses of up to 20 million euros, including a mandatory option. If Chelsea insist on not making a discount, Galatasaray will have to close the book and look to other candidates"

Including bonuses too

Chelsea will not want a loan when they can get up to £25 million straight away

Maybe I’m brutal but I think some people underestimate the level of the step up. I don’t feel confident in Patto and felt much of last season not feeling confident about him. The players must have felt some of the same. That said he is an incredible shot stopper. The role requires much more than that in this division. We need to stay up. I also don’t feel confident in Neil as the 6 as we step up. Defensive cover he does well but needs time he won’t have.’We need better starters in many positions for me and many these lads can be decent back up while they adjust and we see who can do it. I don’t want us to go down for the sake of loyalty. I do recognise that they are good lads and I don’t want many of them to leave either.

I believe a Turkish fan account might know what Galatasaray have offered but I don't believe they'd know what the player's preferences are.

That might sound like I just believe positive news and not negative news, but thats just a coincidence this time. For example I don't believe the Guardian's thing from earlier.

"Petrovic's first preference is to play in the Champions League and to avoid being in a yo-yo team, so he doesn't have to look for another team if his team gets relegated the following year. As of now, Galatasaray is ten steps ahead of Sunderland, but the clubs need to reach an agreement."

Doesn't sound great like, lol

Maybe a post out of hope rather than expectation when their club only seemingly want a loan.

Definite fan account.

No respected media journalist will report like that.
