as for Patto I’d like him to stay and fight for his place. He’s had no real competition in last few season so this could give him the kick up the arse he needs to improve.

 

Keeper pools tend to be matey, I know that was the criticism levelled against Nathan Bishop (too friendly not enough competitiveness) and I know for a fact that Patto and Moore are mates, my dad has a cafe in Shields and they've been in together more than once after training. Maybe I’m brutal but I think some people underestimate the level of the step up. I don’t feel confident in Patto and felt much of last season not feeling confident about him. The players must have felt some of the same. That said he is an incredible shot stopper. The role requires much more than that in this division. We need to stay up. I also don’t feel confident in Neil as the 6 as we step up. Defensive cover he does well but needs time he won’t have.’We need better starters in many positions for me and many these lads can be decent back up while they adjust and we see who can do it. I don’t want us to go down for the sake of loyalty. I do recognise that they are good lads and I don’t want many of them to leave either.

I believe a Turkish fan account might know what Galatasaray have offered but I don't believe they'd know what the player's preferences are.

That might sound like I just believe positive news and not negative news, but thats just a coincidence this time. For example I don't believe the Guardian's thing from earlier.
