Mikautadze is a very very good player he’d be out of our reach entirely if Lyon weren’t forced to sell. There will be many clubs getting involved soon I just hope we’ve beat them to the punch

However this is a lifelong Lyon fan from the region, perhaps it would play on his mind if he wasn't getting the best deal to save his boyhood club. Not necessarily the deciding factor but it can play a part.

Very difficult to get him in imo, but at least the club are showing genuine ambition here.

We were linked to diarra 2 weeks before it was done.

we only really get one ninja signing a year and we’ve already done it with sadiki so I don’t really get this narrative

Tbh this is a bit of a concern for me even if we get him... will his heart be in it? Hope he doesn't lose his love of the game and just "go through the motions" after being forced to leave the club he loves...
