He missed a fair chunk of the season to be fair. I think 15 goals for a striker for a team like us would be the objective. Good tally but more than achievable, both Cunha and Strand Larsen hit 15/14 last season for a poor wolves team. Obviously Wissa and Mbuemo both hit around 20 but that was an incredible season for them. Delap got 12.

A few clubs have tried replacing almost an entire team. It doesn't work, even with money we don't have. Some will step up, and to have a chance we will need that to happen.

It's always more than purely having sexy sounding players with new squad numbers, though of course a few of them will hopefully do the job here. This lot seem pretty clued up. I'm happy to let them jog on and get on with it!

Maybe a transfer exclusive or nothing at all

just got off the train at Manchester Victoria and saw someone who looked the spitting imagine of Ahmed Abudllahi getting off the same train in a very cool tracksuit with nothing but a wash bag with him.

Could be a day away, could be a loan somewhere, could not even be him, but build was similar face similar, had his hood up so couldn’t see his hair. Anyway

Those who want to stay absolutely should. They'll have to rise to the challenge that they earned themselves. They're professional and will know that with growth comes bigger challenges. None of them should look at the newcomers and think they're being replaced. That's poor and weak mentality.

I'd be really surprised if Ballard, Hume and Mayenda at the very least didn't start the first game. Mundle, Neil and Rigg clearly have a good chance to as well. Regis doesn't seem the kind to disrupt so he may wish to ease the new lads in slowly.

The only exception is Patto as its obviously different for keepers where there's usually very much a number 1 and a number 2. It may be difficult for him to accept a demotion and he may wish to leave. This would be sad considering the journey he's been on but is unfortunate.

Would have to move to championship to be number 1. Good shot stopper but non vocal and does not command box

Reminds me of when i sat next Gavin Massey on the train to Crewe when he was going for his medical at Port Vale. The only time I’ve ever had a transfer exclusive
