Shame about nectar but with promotions sometimes the club grows quicker than the player, wish him the best should he go
No guarantees he goes, just that's the talk from the Hibs end

He's a decent player but his issue 3 of our CMs are younger than him and imo all a lot better. Our CMs cover ground really well and triantis really struggles in this aspect

I hope I'm wrong and he's good enough to feature for us in the PL but I didn't see a PL player when I watched him last seasom

He would have been having discussions for a while, they'll also take the lead from RLB about who he wants in the 1st team and who he doesnt

I’m sure you're right …

… I just hope, and believe, any player leaving is shown respect.

The club seems to be building a great reputation for that.

Are you sure he can't contribute?
I'm very confident that he can't contribute next season. Of course he might surprise me and I hope he does as I really like him

He is poor at covering the ground and struggles on the half turn, often takes clumsy touches which loses possession, this gets found out at the top level

Honestly the standard up here is so bad at the minute, he had a brilliant season but I don't think he's anywhere near ready to step up to a PL squad

Got no problems with selling anyone if we are bringing in good replacements, can't be sentimental in this game cause as they say "when you're standing still you're going backwards" so I'll thank any player who has got us here and I'll remember the effort they all put in the last 4 seasons and let's not forget we as a club have been very good for their careers.

Lost brownhill too
They will miss that lad. Always good for them

I think they might want/ have wanted, to keep him. But being fair to a player is part of the deal. If we really don't see him playing, or perhaps if he doesn't see it himself, then at his age he needs a club where he can crack on.

Look at Evan Ferguson. Cracking prospect but hardly played for a while because of injury before West Ham tried him, scored about a dozen in three seasons. Very young still, and I like him, but Brighton want £30m!

They will, that's why I think we might sell Triantis. The easy thing to do is to loan him out again but he's now 22 so will likely want to settle somewhere so could see us doing what's right for him and giving him a move

Of course he might stay for preseason and really impress and gets a shot next season

Thanks for the insight. Do you think he's someone who could improve with different coaching and a different standard of player around him?

Yep i do, he massively kicked on last season so the growth is there as he's just learning the position. Just don't think he will improve to be a PL CM, I think championship will be his limit in England just due to the pace of the game

Good player and 1 I loved watching last season so feel bad saying I don't think he's good enough for us now

Agreed. The one thing we should not, will not and cannot do is start eleven new players.

All promoted teams need help, teams like us who have been out ages more than others maybe.

But attempting to chuck everyone out who "isn't ready", leaving no room for players to grow into the new league is not only impossible to do, but goes against what the people running the club have stated openly as their game plan.

Some might struggle, but most will get the chance to grow, though in one or two cases, that might depend on them wanting to sign up for the ride so to speak.

Isidor is definitely the type of player most promoted teams would like to have in their set up.

Blows my mind how quickly some are to write off Isidor! ..... can you imagine watching his highlight reel from last season if we had just signed him! ..... he dropped off a bit towards the end of a 49 game season ... but at times he was phenominal! scored some absolute worldies and has Pace to burn! I easily see him thriving in the premier league ... probably suits him even better than the championship as you would expect we will be looking to utilise fast counter attacks.

My mindset has shifted recently with all the transfer news. Players who we might have retained / loaned out and then thought they'd be good to have in case we get relegated this season, they're no longer necessary.

The club seem to 100% be focused on consolidating in the Premier League. No half arsing. Players that aren't good enough for mid table Premier can go. No keeping on championship-at-best level players in case we get relegated.
