People saying we will definitely go for another keeper, but not necessarily, we maybes only went for Bulka because he was an upgrade at a deal that suited us they may not be any deals out there which would be worth investing if there not significantly better than what we have

agreed, this is what I'm worried about now. As I think we need one.

I'd like some closure on it from Fab. Even if its just words!! I want to see ambitious project and "moving on to other options" etc
Tbf club and him probably working together on what to put out

it’ll probably leak another target but may wait until we’re more confident of it happening

(which we were with this one until Saudi swooped)

I'm convinced we need a new keeper now. Mostly because it seems the club think we do and I've seen what we're willing to spend on one.
100%, I'm not comfortable with Patto in goal in the premier league, I was barely comfortable watching him in the championship :D

we've had it said multiple times in the club fed Keith posts we are strengthing our spine and it included a goalkeeper but at the time he said Bulka as it was close

I was happy enough with him before as he improved towards end of season and kept us in the playoff final. But now we've been teased with Bulka I've realised that most of my reasoning for keeping him as number 1 was sentimental and not practical.

This, i'm trying to remove all sentiiment from my thoughts this window

still need a upgrade for premier league IMHO
I was keen to replace him in the championship in all honesty but he looked good when he shifted some timber back end of the season, you’re probably right though, who we go for god knows, glad it’s not my job haha I’ll just leave that to the recruitment team

As reported by our colleagues at Foot Mercato – which we can confirm – Mikautadze is currently being pursued by Sunderland, where French sporting director Florent Ghisolfi operates, and who is very keen on his profile. Another English club, Nottingham Forest, is also tracking the former Metz player, who, according to our sources, hopes to find a place in the Premier League or the Bundesliga. In Germany, Frankfurt has made inquiries but must first offload its attack before registering a potential signing in this area.

Lyon can expect to earn between €22 and €25 million for the Georgian international, who, let's remember, was sold for €18.5 million by FC Metz a year ago. The Moselle club is also due to receive training compensation in the deal, as well as a percentage of the capital gain, as was negotiated during this transfer
