Are the Saudis exempt from any kind of control over what they can spend.

We have this PSR thing. Like it or not it at least tries to even things out a bit.
I would guess all other European clubs are subject to some kind of control.

If the Saudis can do whatever they want with no control over their spending I can see a lot more players going there to play to a few hundred Arabs for a £million a game.

Isn’t there some organisation that should be controlling this, FIFA or something like it.
The Saudis have unlimited money so what’s to stop them buying football.
The mags can’t do it here but their owners can do it in Saudi.
Maybe they will find a way to destroy our domestic footy using the mags.
They will buy football, it will happen

I'll assume we're just seeing if we can agree personal terms with him first then making Lyon an offer (based on that article). They may still need money and if you get in quickly enough there may be a bargain there.

Simply because of the time and the fact it’s just a teaser for the kit I’m expecting either more kit teases or staff / transfer announcement today
I've ignored the club's timings for a while now, we've been very random for a good bit now

ABBA. Fernando. You're welcome <laugh>

There was something in the air that night
The tackle’s bright, Reinildo
They were coming through, with all their might
But you made the challenge, oh so right
And you won the ball so clean and bright
Reinildo, Reinildo

We knew that we would not concede
With you, my friend, Reinildo
You are the rock, the vital deed
A warrior of a special breed
For Sun'land, you’ll succeed
Reinildo, Reinildo!

there you go @MadMackem77

Bulka has been the subject of strong transfer interest from the Black Cats, who have held a series of discussions with Nice over the Poland international.

Sunderland were willing to meet Nice’s asking price for the 25-year-old, but newly-promoted Saudi side Neom agreed a €15m deal with the Ligue 1 side and were given formal permission to conduct personal talks.

Neom have reportedly offered Bulka a bumper deal worth around £160,000-a-week, which is way in excess of Sunderland would have been willing to offer.

While Bulka had initially indicated a desire to test himself in the Premier League, it appears as though money has talked and he is now on the verge of completing a switch to Saudi Arabia.

Sunderland remain determined to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks this summer, and will now switch their focus to alternative targets.
