Can defo see a mass memory event happening across Tyneside in the next few years when they all state that their long-standing moral objections to being owned by a regressive nation state:emoticon-0102-bigsm

My best mate is a black and white; he reckons they could’ve had Mbuemo if they wanted but they don’t want to break their wage structure because Isak is their best player and apparently on £150k a week. I said good luck thinking you’re an elite club and trying to win anything with that structure :emoticon-0102-bigsm

There’s a reckoning coming for it imo. The use case for this stuff and the genuine benefits struggle to outweigh the environmental impacts and societal corrosion in my view. Not to mention that each sector has its own native tool and they rarely talk across ecosystems - so they’re building in their own end via subscription. Add in the hallucinations and outright lies and I have to wonder when the penny will drop. It’s designed to pathologically lie to you and provide a veneer of confidence and truth. It doesn’t actually need to achieve either, it just has to convince the user that it is. Vampire capitalism will push it as an inevitable advance, and the magic bullet for more staff reductions. But eventually we’ll realise that it’s just an expensive and environmentally ruinous gaslighting machine. Let’s hope we haven’t done too much damage by then! At least GPT and Altman won’t be around too much longer. Only so much VC cash they can access before people realise they don’t generate value. The fact that they’ve currently got multiple lawsuits that could bring them a-cropper is the icing on the cake.

Anyway. What’s going on with the big Pole?:emoticon-0102-bigsm

Literally just read that the Big 4 accountancy firms have cut their graduate intake by thousands this year as AI can apparently do the job they would do....

honestly I was just thinking Chelsea didn’t have enough players

Such a waste of a transfer. He’s best as a 10 and they have Palmer who nobody is replacing. He’ll barely kick a ball this season, he’s not starting over Delap or Jackson either I don’t think. Nkunku, Felix, Broja, Fofana etc all won’t get a look in. Shambles. If they spent the money they’ve wisely they’d be dominating the game right now.

it’s not that AI can do the jobs they do. It’s that the graduates can do their jobs quicker with AI. So if they needed 5,000 to do that workload before, now they only need 3,000

I’m just wondering who will get Joao Pedro in January on loan.

Im not sure I’d want him in our system.
