Reckon this is a way to get more money out of us? Surely his national team hopes might be in the gutter if he goes to Saudi

Possible, just as the Romano tweet could have been fed to him by Bulka’s representatives to stoke interest, this could equally be coming from them to get better terms.

There’s of course another possibility which is that he agreed to join NEOM a week ago and everything that’s been reported since by Fabrizio and Keith IS the “last minute”.

There’s two scenarios for me:

A) this is all obviously true and the player is money driven.

B) Saudis name is being used to Increase a wage offer from Sunderland

there’s a LOT of factors that point me towards B. But it doesn’t rule out A
 
Shame about Bulka if the reports are correct. Neom will be chucking money around more than any other Saudi club in the next few years so would love to see the wages they are offering him.

Hamad Traore would be an interesting one. Had a great season in Ligue 1 as a versatile attacker. Played so many positions in a few different formations. Loads of pace and makes good shot decisions.

Arthur Avom excites me. Haven't seen loads of him but from what I have he looks a big prospect.
